OneGramCoin (OGC): All disucssions of the digital token backed by gold take place here!

OneGram uses blockchain technology to create a more resillient and stable cryptocurrency where each coin is backed by one gram of gold at launch. Each OneGram transaction generates a small fee. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, in OneGram, this fee is reinvested (net of admin costs) to buy more gold and increase the amount of gold that backs each token. 3,000,000 OGC already invested! Realistically, will Bitcoin's value increase continue on this exponential scale?

I'm new to Bitcoin and frankly do not have extensive knowledge of economics principles. What I do know is that buying high is generally not a good idea, even though Bitcoin is obviously different from the stock market and other currencies in a lot of ways. And though I have missed a huge value spike (that appears to be ongoing), I'm wondering if it is still a good idea to get into Bitcoin.
I can't ignore the fact that it is still increasing in value so quickly. I remember talking about Bitcoin years ago and how it had a huge, sudden increase in value and was a couple hundred dollars. I thought it was interesting but dismissed it as a fad and completely forgot about it until today, when I checked the price and noticed that its growth over the past few years has still been extraordinary.
Still, rollercoasters always go back down or at least flatten out unless there is something really wrong with them. When do you all think that will be? I don't want to sound cynical, just genuinely curious.

Crypcore is a collateralized Crypto Asset. Crypcore divides the Exchange revenues between the exchange and the coin and adding this to the collateral so that holders of Crypcore can increase the value of their collateral and profit. The collateral will be Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Monero.

BCH has to participate in DeFi or it will hinder its competitiveness as cash. DAOs & native collatarized debt based tokens generating interest, Nimbus can do this. Greater utility increases value, which heightens security, in turn improving utility, this is the virtuous cycle of Bitcoin.

How much should I invest in Bitcoin? Will it increase in value anytime soon?

I've been very interested in Bitcoin for a few months now but I don't even know where to start or if it's even worth it in this day and age (not trying to sound rude or pessimistic I just have no idea). I don't know if I should start out by investing $10-$100 or even $1,000. I don't know what would give me the best outcome. I've also been hearing that Bitcoin may rise substantially on the 24th is the this true?
If anyone can help me with a guide or how to start it would be much appreciated!!
Also what wallet is a good wallet?

[NOOB] How/Why do you think cryptos (mainly Bitcoin, since largest) will replace normal currency? It is always compared to other currencies in value and while trading, and I've heard that the total Bitcoin in circulation is fixed (20 mil right?) . Isn't that a disadvantage?Money will never increase?

Another disadvantage is the fact that the value of one Bitcoin is so high. Like how do you manage to say 0.00001 BTC every time? Shouldn't currencies be in hundreds, thousands? There should always be something for BTC to be compared to right? A traditional, paper currency? Only then will the value fluctuate and trade happen? You don't have to actually answer them if this question is common on this sub. A previous answer, articles or video is good for me too.

In 2009 bitcoin was valued roughly at $0.08 per coin and today it is valued at over $10,000 per coin-What will dramatically increase in value over the next 10 years?

How/why will bitcoin increase in value?

I’ve been doing some reading and checking out the data and it doesn’t look like the number of daily active addresses will be increasing. The adjusted daily transaction volume is plateauing. The lightning network appears to be a failure as evidenced by a number of its statistics. Bakkt will go live soon but that’s already priced in probably, and it may not even have a positive effect on bitcoin. There aren’t any hopeful candidates for a bitcoins etf. Legitimate bitcoin custodians already exist and that hasn’t had an noticeable positive impact on the price. It’s true that the price could shoot up with some strong momentum if there is a FOMO event again, but with the possibility for shorting with futures contracts even that is limited. And I don’t even know what could cause that kind of event now. Bitcoins price isn’t even exponential. It appears to follow a pattern of being log-linear for short periods before it adjusts and it’s long term upwards trend decreases, culminating in a plateau (now).
Where’s the reason to hope? I’m not trying to bash bitcoin because I want it to succeed and I want a reason to put more money into it.

If we say that BTC will gradually increase in value in upcoming years, how this can be massively adopted? Lets say I wanna buy a drink with my bitcoin and today’s cost is 0,0009 BTC, next month if remains the same, technically if bitcoin gains value my drink will be more expensive...

I know we should not think in fiat when talking about mass adoption but I find very hard to understand, even if today I would like to buy something with BTC I would prefer fiat because if I pay today a X price, in some months what I bought may lose value and the amount I paid in BTC would have gained value, so I am losing twice.

Will bitcoin lose value because transactions consume ever-increasing power?

What do you guys think of the argument that in the long-term, bitcoin will cease to have use because mining will be too expensive due to ever-increasing costs of mining, so that each trade will take longer and at some point, they will just halt?

If I put my bitcoin into a bitcoin wallet, will the value still increase/decrease as if it was still on an exchange?

There is still a lot I don't understand about bitcoin wallets (and bitcoin in general).
I would like to invest money little by little and stay in for the long haul.
I see it is recommended to keep your bitcoin in an offline wallet. Again, don't quite understand how this works (I've read multiple ELI5 on this and still don't get it).
My main question, before I even consider putting any bitcoins in a wallet is, does the value of the bitcoin still rise/fall as if it were still on an exchange?
If I'm trying to accrue a profit, I don't want to take the money out of the exchange, right? Since bitcoin uses the term "wallet" to try to make it easier for people to grasp the concept, it doesn't make sense to me. If I have money in the stock market, and I make a profit, then I take that money and put it in a physical wallet in my pocket, it's no longer gaining any interest from that point forward. It's off the exchange and now in my pocket.
Does this work the same way?
