Hello, I want to change dogecoin to bitcoin, is it possible? I have a bitcoin wallet and a dogecoin wallet. Is there any site to make the conversion? If it's possible, I want trustable sites already used by the community.
Dogecoin started off with the max supply of 100b coins. Later they changed it to unlimited. How do we know bitcoin won't do the same via fork once political influnce gets invloved?
Dogecoin started off with the max supply of 100b coins. Later they changed it to unlimited. How do we know bitcoin won't do the same via fork once political influnce gets invloved? in the future politics will get involved in bitcoin, fox news will tell everyone to fork to the new code with some coin printing inflation scam. How do we know it wont happen to bitcoin?
Dogecoin Cap,,,, I believe there needs to be a Dodgecoin cap. Dodgecoin has been a survivor amongst other in cryptocurrency realm. Surviving over the last 5 years and keeping price changes relative to Bitcoin. Bitcoin has skyrocketed because, there will only ever be 21 million bitcoin circulating.
From the perspective of a dogecoiner: I like Changetip and tipping Bits, but I would like to be able to top up my Changetip wallet using Dogecoin. To have to change dogecoin to bitcoin first and then deposit is somewhat of a hassle. Can't Changetip take that out of my hands by incorporating a sort of 'shapeshift'-function inside Changetip that I as a user don't have to bother with? Thanks!
PSA: If you have coins in the exchange Vircurex, you should be aware that they have frozen Bitcoin and Litecoin withdrawals. Dogecoin withdrawals appear to be enabled at the moment, but that could change
Vircurex Announcement: As you may very well be aware, we had two incidents last year that lead to a loss of a significant number of BTC, LTC, FTC, TRC. We had communicated at that time that we will be covering those losses from our income, which we have done so far. We had enough coin balances in our cold wallet to upkeep our platform and the positive cashflow enabled us to gradually refill the wallets. Unfortunately we had large fund withdrawals in the last weeks which have lead to a complete depletion of our cold wallet balance and we are now facing the option of either closing the site with significant unrecoverable losses for all or to work out a solution that allows the exchange to continue to operate and gradually pay back the losses. We have obviously chosen the later and hence are going to do the following:
We will introduce an additional balance type called "Frozen Funds". Funds in this balance type cannot be used to trade or withdraw. Those are the balances that the exchange will gradually pay back and hence transfer back to the available balance over time.
We will move all current balances for BTC, LTC, TRC and FTC to the "Frozen Balance", i.e. your balance will be set to 0.
We'll take the current available Cold Storage balance and distribute it based on the below described distribution logic.
Monthly we will take the net profit of the exhchange and credit back that amount distributed to the users based on the described distribution logic.
Bitcoin changing its ways to be more like Dogecoin
Hey all! GoodShibe here! The Bitcoin community appears to have accepted that the mBTC, uBTC, etc structure is too complicated and, instead has chosen to accept a format called 'bits'. As explained in the article below: "As an example, Garzik indicated that paying 9,123 bits would be more intuitive for consumers than spending 0.009123 BTC." http://www.coindesk.com/bitpay-announces-plan-display-btc-prices-bits/ Congrats, Shibes! The success of our little 'joke' coin is inspiring our Great Uncle to try something different - I hope it works out well for them. :D)
Good idea/Bad idea: I just changed all my Bitcoin to Dogecoin.
...Was this a good or bad idea? While I believe it likely that Doge will rise, I did hear that bitcoin lost value, so perhaps the exchange rate went down? Or perhaps not since most places need to change Doge to Bitcoin before getting regular money. Edit: I've still diversified a bit. I currently have Topcoin, Dogecoin, Nyancoin and a bit of Mintcoin. Not much of any, but diverse.
J.P. Brenner intended to design a multisided, shape-shifting bitcoin logo in order to change mainstream's impress about what Bitcoin is. Should we redesign Dogecoin's logo? Make it more light-hearted and kind instead of cold technological image?
Would you consider changing dentists or even going to a dentist if a reputable dentist in your area started accepting Bitcoin/Litecoin/Dogecoin?
I am working with a high end dentist as their technology consultant and I am about to approach them on accepting BTC, LTC, and DOGE. I have mentioned it before and they seemed intrigued and I would like some feedback from the community to take back to them the benefits of accepting cryptocurrency and what it can do for their business.
Carney highlighted the dollar’s use in international securities issuance, its use as the primary settlement currency for international trades and the fact that companies use dollars as examples of its dominance. However, “developments in the U.S. economy, by affecting the dollar exchange rate, can have large spillover effects to the rest of the world.”
In an article published by ID2020 in 2018, vaccines are the perfect way to introduce digital identity to the world – especially infants. This identity would also be used to grant access to basic rights and services.
Your new digital ID will then be matched with your new digital currency issued by your central bank. They will have the absolute, uncontested right to decide whether you can have access to basic rights and services, or not. It will only take a click on the mouse to deny your access to basic rights and services. And you won't know the reason. It could be for wrong thinking, it could be to pursue another political agenda to eliminate whichever community they decided they need to eliminate. We have seen plenty of evidence this year about the strong political bias that big social media platforms have. Now, with the constant monitoring and analyzing of our data, they can easily tell what are our political opinions. And therefore have your access to basic rights and services denied with a click, if you have the 'wrong' political opinions. And I don't see why they would not do that. In a very close future, you could end up in a situation where you have to choose between being allowed to eat, or vote for the candidate you don't like, but that the system endorses. It's literally the end of democracy, and freedom, and there is no going back once we have switched to this new system. All the above is not even a conspiracy. It's merely about connecting the dots, and understanding the implications. edit: here is a video of Accenture, one of the founding partners of id2020, explaining about the digital dollar I think covid was a catalyst to bring all these changes. Who else than the international financial system has the ability to have all countries on the planet to comply with such severe restriction rules that send their respective economies and societies down the toilet ?
